Overview
We are seeking an experienced RAN Deployment Lead to oversee the end-to-end delivery of radio network sites within a major telecommunications programme. This hybrid role will require collaboration with the National Delivery Manager and will involve managing multiple suppliers and partners across various deployment activities. The successful candidate will focus on ensuring timely and compliant upgrades, while driving programme delivery and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of RAN sites from nomination through to operational handover.
- Manage delivery partners across design, acquisition, build, and site activation activities.
- Drive programme delivery against agreed milestones, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve delivery challenges.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, regulatory, and other requirements throughout the deployment lifecycle.
- Monitor delivery performance, risks, dependencies, and escalations across multiple suppliers.
- Provide accurate governance, reporting, forecasting, and progress updates to programme leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering mobile network deployment programmes, particularly in large-scale RAN rollouts.
- Strong understanding of key deployment disciplines such as site acquisition, design, or construction.
- Experience managing multiple suppliers, contracts, and delivery partners simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to utilize data and operational insights to drive delivery decisions.
- Commitment to Health & Safety, quality, and right-first-time delivery.
