Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a crucial data segregation and security programme within a major UK media and entertainment organization. This role will involve orchestrating complex technical controls across a large-scale Google Workspace environment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while safeguarding sensitive information. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to successfully deliver on time and to the high standards expected in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex technical workstreams in Google Workspace.
- Oversee the migration and remediation of Shared Drives and associated data structures.
- Implement data governance and security controls, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Coordinate a team of internal and external technical specialists to establish clear delivery plans.
- Maintain RAID logs, budgets, risks, issues, and regular program reporting.
- Prepare for and assure compliance with regulatory audits and milestones.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Utilize data reporting and platform logs to monitor progress and identify risks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management for enterprise technology programmes.
- Proven track record in delivering productivity-suite migrations and technology separation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 at an enterprise level.
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and information governance compliance.
- Hands-on experience in cloud-based data security, access control, and permissions management.
- Background in regulated or audit-driven environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Miro, and BigQuery is preferred.
- Possession of a recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
