Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Business Analyst to assist in the Discovery phase of a significant Workday transformation programme. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders including HR, Finance, and Technology teams to analyze current processes and establish future-state requirements that guide the implementation roadmap. This position focuses heavily on requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder engagement rather than configuration, ensuring key design decisions are made prior to the build phase.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops across business and functional workstreams.
- Capture and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for standardisation and optimisation.
- Facilitate future-state process design aligned to Workday best practices.
- Produce process maps, user journeys, and business requirements documentation.
- Support the development of business cases and prioritisation activities.
- Identify gaps between current operating models and future Workday capabilities.
- Define key business processes, reporting requirements, and data considerations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Workday programmes.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM and/or Workday Financials.
- Extensive experience in discovery and requirements elicitation within large transformation programmes.
- Experience facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders.
- Strong process mapping and business analysis skills.
- Ability to produce BRDs, functional requirements, and gap analysis documentation.
- Understanding of organisational change and business transformation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
