Overview
The role of Contract Test Engineer focuses on hands-on testing in an established technology environment, emphasizing automated testing within cloud-based frameworks. Working in a hybrid model, the engineer will collaborate with developers and other engineers, ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical testing processes and enhance overall product quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated tests using C#/.NET and Selenium.
- Build and execute tests across Selenium Grid environments.
- Work with Docker to support automated testing and development environments.
- Integrate automated testing into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using NUnit.
- Use FluentAssertions to create clear and maintainable test assertions.
- Identify, investigate, and report software defects.
- Contribute to improving testing processes, frameworks, and automation coverage.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET.
- Solid experience with Selenium and automated testing.
- Experience working with Selenium Grid.
- Familiarity with Docker.
- Good knowledge of Jenkins / CI/CD.
- Experience with NUnit.
- Experience using FluentAssertions.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and automation.
