Overview
We are seeking an AI-Native Systems Engineer to leverage deep systems engineering skills alongside AI-native practices to design, validate, and deliver innovative solutions. This role involves collaborating within small, high-performing teams that utilize AI agents, and requires a commitment to be onsite two days a week in either London, Birmingham, or Ipswich.
Responsibilities
- Design and validate AI-native systems solutions.
- Collaborate with small teams to integrate AI agents into workflows.
- Implement and optimize engineering workflows for AI-driven execution.
- Develop and validate large-scale processing platforms.
- Utilize distributed systems architecture and computational concepts.
- Operate within AI-assisted software delivery environments.
- Leverage AI coding agents for software development activities.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture.
- Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity.
- Experience with cloud-scale engineering on AWS or equivalent platforms.
- Strong programming experience using languages such as Go, Rust, C/C++.
- Familiarity with operating systems, CPU architecture, and compilation concepts.
- Understanding of networking, protocols, and distributed computing principles.
- Experience in designing data-intensive systems and validating AI-generated outputs.
