Overview
The Senior .NET Developer will play a pivotal role in enhancing a high-throughput payments platform for a leading fintech company. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Data, Risk, and Platform, the developer will be instrumental in launching new products, integrating partners, and refining the architecture of a cloud-native platform built on .NET and Azure. This hands-on position will focus on engineering best practices and mentoring fellow developers while actively contributing to system design and development.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-performance .NET services for a global payments platform.
- Build and scale event-driven microservices using Azure.
- Drive best practices in architecture, coding standards, and system reliability.
- Collaborate with product teams on API-driven payment and partner integrations.
- Mentor and support engineers, contributing hands-on to critical systems.
- Evolve a scalable architecture capable of handling high transaction volumes.
- Enhance engineering velocity, delivery quality, and platform resilience.
Requirements
- Strong experience in building production systems using .NET / C#.
- Proficiency in developing cloud-native applications in Azure.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, including Kafka and messaging systems.
- Experience with Azure Cosmos DB and distributed systems.
- Background in payments platforms or high-throughput transactional environments.
- Strong understanding of system design, reliability, and performance at scale.
- Ability to lead technically while remaining hands-on in development.
