Overview
We are looking for a Test Manager to lead the end-to-end test delivery process for a public sector client. The successful candidate will develop testing strategies and manage the complete lifecycle from planning to release decision sign-off, while engaging with clients and stakeholders. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with occasional travel to Gloucester and requires SC and NPPV3 clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end test delivery process for client projects.
- Develop and implement testing strategies and plans.
- Manage the full lifecycle of testing from initial planning to final sign-off.
- Collaborate with CI/CD teams to integrate testing processes.
- Oversee and mentor a team of testers in automation and performance testing.
- Engage with client stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives.
- Provide reports and insights based on testing outcomes and project status.
- Ensure compliance with relevant testing standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing.
- At least 3 years in a leadership or management role in Test Automation.
- Expertise in tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, Cucumber, and NeoLoad.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.
- Proficiency in API, performance, security, and accessibility testing.
- Strong client-facing skills and experience in consultancy delivery.
- Experience with both Manual/Automation and Performance/NFT testing teams is preferred.
