Overview
We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Project Manager to oversee the implementation of a new finance/ERP platform. This fully remote role focuses on managing the project from implementation to go-live, collaborating with software vendors, implementation partners, and various stakeholders across Finance and Technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance systems and previous success in delivering finance systems replacements or ERP implementations.
Responsibilities
- Own the finance systems implementation from mobilisation through to go-live.
- Build and manage the overall project plan against the April delivery deadline.
- Coordinate the software vendor and implementation partners.
- Manage stakeholders across Finance, Technology, and the wider organisation.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and escalations.
- Coordinate data migration, testing, UAT, and business readiness activities.
- Manage cutover planning and transition into BAU.
- Provide clear reporting and governance throughout the programme.
Requirements
- Strong Project Management experience within finance systems or ERP implementations.
- Proven experience delivering a finance system replacement end-to-end.
- Experience managing software vendors and third-party implementation partners.
- Strong finance and senior stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to manage complex project plans, dependencies, risks, and milestones.
- Understanding of data migration, testing/UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Strong governance, RAID, and project reporting experience.
- NetSuite and/or Xero experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
