Overview
We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer with expertise in Python and React for a fully remote opportunity. In this role, you will work across the full stack to drive complex product development while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams. The position focuses on enhancing core platforms and data products, turning intricate data into actionable insights for the education sector.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale front-end and back-end services.
- Develop APIs and data-driven product experiences.
- Design well-architected, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Drive automated testing, ensuring quality and reliability.
- Lead code reviews and engage in pair programming.
- Mentor and support other engineers in their development.
- Contribute to technical discussions, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
- Improve engineering processes, product quality, and overall delivery.
Requirements
- Strong commercial software engineering experience.
- Excellent development skills in Python and React.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database management.
- Demonstrated full-stack experience from database to UI.
- Experience designing and building APIs and services.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles such as SOLID, DRY, Clean Code, and TDD.
- Experience with large-scale or complex systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, Docker, Scrum/Agile, DDD, and enterprise systems is advantageous.
