Overview
The Senior Product Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing an innovative AI-enabled consumer healthcare platform for a rapidly growing technology company. This hands-on, full-stack engineering position, primarily utilizing Python, involves collaborating closely with the CTO, engineering, product, and design teams to navigate the product lifecycle from ideation to implementation and customer feedback.
Responsibilities
- Own problems end-to-end, managing all aspects of product engineering.
- Develop and maintain APIs and asynchronous data processing systems.
- Design and integrate databases and infrastructure components.
- Deliver customer-facing applications while iterating based on feedback.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate ideas into functional products.
- Utilize modern AI development tools to facilitate engineering processes.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery with strong adherence to coding standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in Python.
- Demonstrated expertise in asynchronous systems and data-processing workflows.
- Experience in building and shipping customer-facing products.
- Proven track record of taking new ideas from concept to production.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
- Experience with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, GCP, and AI-enabled products is advantageous.
