Overview
The Agentic Engineer will engage for a six-month contract, primarily focused on implementing AI-powered workflows within a significant client in the content and media sector. This role requires collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to develop robust agentic systems and ensure documentation quality for future client hires. The contractor will be responsible for designing automated evaluations and tests, while also integrating AI capabilities into the client’s existing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Map workflows with users and define clear outcomes for agentic solutions.
- Design and build agentic systems, focusing on orchestration and human approval processes.
- Integrate AI capabilities with client platforms through APIs and data services.
- Build reusable components and patterns for client team utilization.
- Develop automated evaluations and tests for task success and quality assurance.
- Establish observability and improve agent performance metrics.
- Apply security and content rights controls, incorporating human reviews.
- Document decisions clearly for the client’s future product development.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills with a focus on maintainable and well-tested code.
- Hands-on experience with applications utilizing LLMs and agentic patterns.
- Experience in integrating APIs and third-party services into production-ready products.
- Knowledge in designing evaluations for AI systems, including safety and quality testing.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring for AI-powered applications.
- Experience in deploying cloud-based services using modern CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of application security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Proven experience directing and validating AI-generated engineering outputs.
