Overview
We are seeking an experienced Angular Developer to join a fast-paced software team focused on delivering a leading analytics application. In this role, you will primarily enhance and maintain the application’s front end, working closely with engineers and team members to create accessible and user-friendly interfaces. The position offers the flexibility of hybrid or fully remote work arrangements and presents a significant opportunity for long-term collaboration following an initial three-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance and maintain Angular interfaces using TypeScript and established front-end practices.
- Build reusable components and implement routing, forms, and application state to support future maintenance.
- Connect user-facing features to REST services, manage asynchronous data, and handle authentication and errors appropriately.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to clarify requirements and discuss implementation options for project delivery.
- Write and maintain automated tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve browser, performance, and usability issues, ensuring accessibility, security, and responsive behavior throughout development.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience developing production applications with Angular and TypeScript.
- Proficient with Angular components, routing, forms, dependency injection, RxJS, and state management.
- Practical knowledge of HTML and CSS, including responsive layouts and web accessibility standards.
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and managing authentication and asynchronous data flows securely.
- Familiarity with automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly.
- Understanding of front-end security principles and the capability to quickly learn new tools.
