Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Project Manager to lead supplier sourcing and change projects for a long-term global transformation program in the aerospace sector. The successful candidate will work closely with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain efficiency while maintaining operational stability. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to impact critical supply chain strategies within a prominent engineering organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply chain and supplier sourcing projects.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and governance structures.
- Manage supplier source change initiatives without operational disruption.
- Coordinate global stakeholders across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Drive risk management and mitigation activities throughout project delivery.
- Conduct impact assessments and cost-benefit analysis.
- Manage third-party suppliers and external partners.
- Produce executive-level project reporting and status updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex supply chain, procurement, or sourcing projects.
- Formal Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, APMP, PMQ or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing supply chains.
- Experience working within aerospace manufacturing environments.
- Supplier management and sourcing expertise.
- Demonstrable track record delivering complex cross-functional projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
