Overview
We are seeking an experienced Platform / Business Architect to provide senior architectural leadership for a significant project. In this role, you'll bridge business requirements and technology, shaping how the platform integrates with the broader business landscape. You will work closely with business analysts and senior stakeholders to establish the target architecture and ensure that business needs are transformed into effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business analysts to shape and challenge requirements, processes, and user journeys.
- Map the platform's interactions with broader business capabilities, systems, data, and processes.
- Translate business needs into clear architectural requirements and decisions.
- Define and evolve the target operating model and platform architecture.
- Identify integration points, dependencies, gaps, and risks within the technological landscape.
- Bridge business thinking with technical delivery, providing architectural guidance as the platform evolves.
- Assure solution designs and supplier proposals, providing recommendations.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment on architectural direction and decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Platform Architect or Business Architect, with exposure to both disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability in shaping complex business and technology transformation programmes from requirements to delivery.
- Strong understanding of business capabilities, processes, platforms, data, and integration.
- Experience collaborating with business analysts to translate requirements into architectural guidance.
- Ability to operate across business and technical teams, linking business intent with technology delivery.
- Experience with complex SaaS, cloud, and enterprise environments, particularly with platforms like Salesforce, Azure, or AWS.
- Proficient in stakeholder management, including senior leadership and external suppliers.
