Overview
The SAP Data Lead for SuccessFactors will oversee the strategy, governance, and execution of data-related activities specifically focused on SAP SuccessFactors, S/4HANA, and associated systems. Collaborating closely with stakeholders and managing data teams, this role will ensure effective data migration and quality management through the various stages of the data lifecycle. The contractor will engage in defining data architectures and leading initiatives for data quality and readiness as the organization prepares for system transitions.
Responsibilities
- Develop overall data migration strategy for SAP SuccessFactors and S/4HANA.
- Establish and enforce data governance, standards, and quality frameworks.
- Lead the end-to-end data migration lifecycle including extraction, cleansing, and validation.
- Coordinate master and transactional data migration cycles.
- Conduct data quality assessments and implement cleansing processes.
- Engage business SMEs and lead data teams throughout the migration process.
- Facilitate workshops and provide program-level reporting.
- Ensure data readiness for cutover and support post-go-live activities.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of ERP data migration experience, particularly with SAP SuccessFactors and S/4HANA.
- Proficient in data strategy development and governance for SAP systems.
- Experience in data mapping, validation, and cleansing methodologies.
- Familiarity with data quality assessment techniques and reconciliation processes.
- Strong leadership skills to engage with stakeholders and direct data teams.
- Understanding of the overall data migration lifecycle from extraction to load.
- SAP certifications and knowledge of PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies are desirable.
