Overview
The Senior Data Engineer will play a crucial role in a FinTech company by helping to design, build, and modernize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure as part of an ongoing data transformation program. Collaborating closely with Data, Engineering, and Product teams, the contractor will focus on optimizing data quality and performance within a modern cloud-based data platform.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize scalable data pipelines.
- Work across a modern cloud-based data platform.

Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Spark and dbt.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of modern data architecture and pipelines.
- Experience within FinTech, Banking, Payments, or Financial Services is beneficial.
