Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack JavaScript Engineer to support the design and development of a leading eCommerce client's digital ecosystem. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with a scrum-based agile team, working on both front-end and back-end applications to enhance their digital offerings. The position is an initial 6-month contract, allowing for remote work with one day in the Central London office each week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement features across front and back-end applications.
- Collaborate with team members in a scrum-based agile environment.
- Design and develop APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Perform hands-on testing using TDD and DDD methodologies.
- Utilize cloud technologies, specifically AWS, in your development process.
- Work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Engage with GraphQL and Nest.js in project development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Full Stack development with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, particularly TDD and DDD.
- Experience in developing APIs and working with event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud services, especially AWS.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and Nest.js is preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously in a team-centered environment.
