Overview
We are seeking experienced Freelance Trainers to join our initiative aimed at empowering Black communities through training and capacity building. Trainers will work with the Programmes Manager to design and deliver impactful sessions on various subjects, supporting Black-led organizations and entrepreneurs. This flexible, project-based role offers the chance to contribute to systemic change and enhance skills within underserved communities.
Responsibilities
- Develop training curricula tailored to various program levels, ensuring alignment with established methodologies.
- Facilitate engaging, interactive training sessions using diverse methods to promote knowledge retention.
- Create an inclusive learning environment that fosters participation and collaboration.
- Measure and evaluate learning outcomes through participant feedback and adapt content accordingly.
- Collaborate with the Programme Manager and fellow trainers to ensure cohesive delivery of training content.
- Deliver training on subjects such as entrepreneurship, leadership, operational excellence, community advocacy, and wellbeing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in designing and delivering professional training sessions.
- Expertise in one or more relevant subject areas like business development, leadership, or community advocacy.
- Familiarity with adult learning theories and best practices in education.
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to manage diverse group dynamics.
- Proficiency in digital training tools and creation of high-quality training materials.
- Experience working with underserved or Black-led organizations is highly desirable.
