Overview
The MRB Design Engineer will join the dynamic MRB Team, focusing on design analysis and support for manufacturing challenges. Working closely with technical authorities and various stakeholders, the role is integral in providing high-quality engineering solutions while adhering to airworthiness standards and customer requirements. Candidates will contribute to an exciting collaborative atmosphere that encourages innovation and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Carry out design analysis on non-conformances produced by manufacturing and quality.
- Process concessions and NCRs while assessing their impact on assembly interfaces.
- Identify efficient methods for analysis, ensuring adherence to airworthiness and procedural requirements.
- Liaise with multiple functions and suppliers to reach optimal design solutions.
- Mentor others and escalate critical issues as needed.
- Utilize CATIA V5 for drawing and model modifications.
- Implement knowledge of military processes as it relates to concessions.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent with practical knowledge and experience in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in SAP CAM, CAD: Catia V5, DPDS, and PLM Teamcenter.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on concessions or in the supply chain.
- Knowledge of material properties, production methods, and their effect on aircraft performance.
- Understanding of build tolerances and analysis methods.
- Experience with automation of repeatable tasks is preferred.
