Overview
We are seeking skilled MRB Design Engineers to join our growing team, focusing on delivering high-quality engineering solutions. The successful candidates will collaborate closely with technical authorities and multiple functions to manage design analysis on non-conformances, ensuring optimal solutions are met while considering airworthiness requirements. Responsibilities
- Conduct design analysis on non-conformances identified in manufacturing and quality processes.
- Process concessions and assess their impact on assembly interfaces.
- Identify efficient methods for analysis while adhering to airworthiness standards.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to achieve the best design solution, balancing cost and performance.
- Explain and escalate critical issues as necessary and mentor junior staff.
- Utilize CAD tools, particularly CATIA V5, for design interrogation and modifications.
- Assess material properties and their effects on aircraft performance through engineering analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in engineering and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in SAP CAM, CATIA V5, and PLM Teamcenter.
- Experience with military processes related to concessions is preferred.
- Familiarity with production methods and material properties affecting aircraft performance.
- Previous experience working on concessions in a supply chain context, with technical approval delegated authority preferred.
- Understanding of assembly tolerances and their analysis in design engineering.
- Experience with automating repeatable tasks or processes is a plus.
