Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a retail company undergoing a significant digital transformation project. The selected contractor will play a crucial role in the re-platforming of existing systems to an event-driven MACH architecture, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and enhance system performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement features using TypeScript, Node, and React.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize architecture based on event-driven MACH principles.
- Configure and manage AWS services, including Lambdas, to support application deployment.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node, and React.
- Experience with event-driven MACH architecture and re-platforming initiatives.
- Familiarity with AWS services and serverless architectures, particularly Lambdas.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience in the retail industry is a plus, but not essential.
