Overview
We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support a significant digital transformation initiative for a retail company. In this role, the contractor will collaborate with a team to re-platform existing systems towards an event-driven MACH architecture over an initial six-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Lead the re-platforming of existing systems to an event-driven MACH architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Implement solutions using TypeScript, Node, and React frameworks.
- Leverage AWS services, including Lambdas, to enhance system capabilities.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on TypeScript and Node.
- Strong knowledge of React and cloud services, particularly AWS.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and MACH principles.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
- Understanding of retail systems and digital transformation processes is a plus.
