Overview
As a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer, you will leverage your extensive defense delivery experience to develop and deploy AI capabilities from inception to customer delivery. This hands-on role requires you to take ownership of new products, ensuring they operate across various environments, while collaborating with senior stakeholders and leading security efforts throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of new product development from concept to live deployment.
- Implement cloud-native solutions across on-prem, OpenShift, Kubernetes, VMs, and bare metal environments.
- Deliver AI and LLM capabilities, including managing GPU workloads and serving models securely.
- Lead security initiatives such as threat modeling and system accreditation processes.
- Create technical documentation and test plans for product delivery.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Active DV clearance is required.
- Significant experience in defense delivery and principal-level engineering roles.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Fastify, Next.js, and React.
- Experience with Prisma, PostgreSQL, and GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud Tasks).
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and identity access management (IAM).
- Bonus experience with OpenShift and GPU model serving.
