Overview
The Senior Flow Assurance Engineer will play a critical role in providing technical leadership and support for Flow Assurance activities across various phases of projects, from feasibility studies to execution. The engineer will collaborate with multiple disciplines, ensuring seamless integration of technical and safety considerations, while managing documentation and supplier interactions. This position requires a high level of expertise in flow assurance activities and aims to drive project success through effective technical guidance and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Prepare all technical documentation related to Flow Assurance activities across project phases.
- Follow up on Supplier Call for Tender & Selection related to Flow Assurance.
- Review and approve FEED, Tender, and Detailed Engineering performed by Contractors.
- Provide technical support to interfacing disciplines such as Pipelines/Subsea and Process/Facilities.
- Support operations and troubleshooting during start-up and commissioning.
- Liaise with other Engineering disciplines throughout the project execution phase.
- Manage interfaces with Reservoir and Laboratories.
- Monitor project scope changes and estimate variations in manhours and schedule.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Flow Assurance across all project phases.
- Graduated-level knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Proficient in the use of OLGA, PVTSim, Multiflash, Pipenet, Pipesim, Hysys, and Unisim.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Matlab, C++, and Python is beneficial.
- Experience with Technical Audit, Design & Safety Reviews, HAZOP, and Risk Assessment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with excellent engineering judgement.
- MS or BS Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in CCUS projects is considered beneficial.
