Overview
The ETRM Application Support Engineer will join a dynamic and experienced Application Support team within a global Commodities Trading business, focusing on a broad range of duties including business as usual support, project involvement, and system migrations. The role offers the opportunity to work with multiple ETRM platforms, while actively participating in a major migration to a new ETRM system. You'll collaborate with internal teams and overseas resources to solve complex issues and enhance trading operations across various regions.
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of multiple ETRM platforms.
- Manage system upgrades and project-related tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.
- Implement new systems and support migrations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and offshore resources.
- Assist users across multiple regions, including London, Asia, and the US.
- Understand and support trading and commodity processes.
- Work with various applications and integration projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Application Support roles.
- Familiarity with ETRM systems, particularly Endur.
- Strong SQL skills required.
- Understanding of trading and commodity processes.
- Experience with business as usual and project environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and investigate application issues.
- Exposure to system integrations and upgrades.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
