Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to engage in a 12-month contract, focusing on a new greenfield project that leverages advanced cloud technologies. The role involves working primarily with AWS or GCP, utilizing Terraform for infrastructure as code, and developing CI/CD pipelines, while collaborating with a team that emphasizes modern container orchestration solutions like EKS or GKE.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of a greenfield DevOps project using AWS and GCP.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code scripts using Terraform.
- Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment processes.
- Collaborate with team members to integrate container orchestration solutions, such as EKS or GKE.
- Ensure compliance with best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the cloud infrastructure and pipelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS or GCP.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with Kubernetes, specifically EKS or GKE.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Ability to work on-site in London at least two days a week.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a cloud-based environment.
