Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Specialist to manage complex and high-profile procurements within a fast-paced organization. The role emphasizes innovative procurement strategies while collaborating closely with stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in procurement within the digital, technology, or defence sectors, and will be comfortable operating independently to deliver timely and effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activity across a range of projects.
- Develop creative and innovative procurement strategies that deliver commercial value.
- Apply PA23 knowledge confidently.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop practical, outcome-focused solutions.
- Utilize digital tools and data to improve procurement outcomes.
- Manage suppliers and commercial risk while ensuring procurement governance.
- Deliver complex and time-critical procurements through to contract award.
Requirements
- Experienced procurement professional with a strong understanding of PA23.
- Innovative and commercially minded, with the ability to challenge conventional approaches.
- Experience in digital, technology, and/or defence procurement is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Current MOD SC Security Clearance is required.
