Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Programme Manager to lead a critical digital programme focused on replacing a business-critical payments and forms platform. The successful candidate will join during the discovery phase and will be responsible for managing the delivery, overseeing implementation partners and platform suppliers, and coordinating efforts among internal technology, data, and business teams. This role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement with technical details, ensuring seamless progress towards project milestones and effective stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead the programme through discovery, implementation, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
- Manage implementation partners, suppliers, SMEs, milestones, dependencies, and delivery risks.
- Oversee payment integrations, data flows, and wider technical dependencies.
- Keep senior stakeholders informed on progress, risks, decisions, and the route to go-live.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Programme Manager, especially in payment platform migration or complex transactional/e-commerce programmes.
- Strong background in managing integrations and working with suppliers.
- Demonstrable ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and complex delivery processes.
