Overview
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support a client in delivering a range of small to medium-sized projects within a highly automated GMP production environment. In this role, the contractor will coordinate with project teams and oversee the lifecycle of projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and CDM regulations. The role involves regular collaboration with system vendors and company teams to ensure timely completion and effective project management oversight.
Responsibilities
- Project engineer small packages of works.
- Deliver a portfolio of projects in accordance with the project roadmap.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Coordinate with the Principal Contractor and the project team to meet schedules.
- Oversee completion of project snags and construction defects.
- Manage installation, commissioning, and qualification processes with vendors and internal teams.
- Provide weekly project progress reports to the Portfolio Manager.
- Report project updates to the PM Group and Alliance Manager.
Requirements
- Project Engineer or Project Manager with cross-functional team management experience.
- Experience in delivering complex projects within a Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Full project lifecycle experience from design through to commissioning and handover.
- Competence in project management processes including scope development and implementation.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and quality control.
- Demonstrated ability to meet project delivery timelines and documentation standards.
- Ability to develop operating procedures and maintenance plans for equipment and facilities.
