Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of renewable energy projects, particularly in the construction phase of ground-mounted solar farms. Collaborating with contractors, design teams, and stakeholders, the Project Manager will ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications while maintaining high standards of quality control and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of renewable energy projects from construction through to completion.
- Provide technical and engineering support across project sites.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Oversee contractors and subcontractors on site.
- Carry out site inspections, quality checks, and technical reviews.
- Review design drawings and ensure works meet approved specifications.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular reports.
- Maintain accurate project, survey, and as-built documentation.
Requirements
- Proven Project Management experience within renewable energy or construction.
- Ground-mounted solar farm experience – essential.
- Engineering qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
- Experience with setting out and surveying.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience using CAD and surveying equipment.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy construction.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
