Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the operational team of a reputable Tier 2 main contractor specializing in new build projects. The successful candidate will focus on a £14 million contract involving the construction of 10 small to medium industrial units in Croydon, collaborating closely with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and execution of new build projects within budget and timeline constraints.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Oversee project documentation, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries and communications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Industrial or Logistics & Distribution sector.
- Demonstrated track record managing new build projects valued up to £10 million.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with effective communication abilities.
- A stable career history that reflects a commitment to previous roles.
- Familiarity with managing projects under the constraints of OUTSIDE IR35 regulations is preferred.
