Overview
We are seeking a Contract Project Manager for a 3-month engagement with a hybrid working arrangement based in Manchester. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure successful platform deployments, manage improvement programs, and coordinate project teams, all while maintaining effective communication and stakeholder visibility. This is an opportunity to drive project outcomes and ensure seamless transitions to business-as-usual processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage platform deployment from planning through to go-live with clear milestones.
- Oversee the delivery of improvement programs, ensuring formal closure and lessons learned are captured.
- Maintain and review data roadmaps aligned to business priorities with sustained governance.
- Drive proposition development through structured processes with clear pipeline visibility.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales, budget, and quality standards.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and risks proactively.
- Coordinate project teams to ensure ongoing momentum and timely progression of deliverables.
- Maintain commercial controls, governance, reporting, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a hybrid working environment.
- Strong understanding of platform deployment and project governance.
- Experience with managing data roadmaps and improvement programs.
- Proficient in project planning, scheduling, and dependency management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and coordinate project teams.
- Experience with risks, issues, and dependencies management in project delivery.
- Familiarity with commercial controls and documentation standards.
