Overview
The Technical Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of a hardware and embedded software product within a reputable global electronics firm specializing in automotive technologies. This role involves engaging with customers, aligning internal engineering teams, and ensuring project milestones are achieved in a safety-critical environment. The position is critical to maintaining close communication and collaboration throughout project phases to deliver on schedule and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of a hardware and embedded software product programme end-to-end.
- Run weekly customer-facing meetings to clarify project scope and timing.
- Align internal software and hardware engineering teams to ensure cohesive progress.
- Track project progress, risks, and issues against the established project plan.
- Support production readiness activities, including sample generation and line trials.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or Technical Program Manager in hardware and embedded software development.
- Familiar with safety-critical and functional safety requirements.
- Comfortable engaging with customers and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience with ASPICE and automotive product development is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is beneficial.
