Overview
The Oracle HCM/Payroll Test Lead will oversee the end-to-end testing strategy for a significant Oracle Cloud transformation project, focusing on Oracle HCM and Payroll systems. Working closely with business stakeholders, functional leads, and implementation partners, the contractor will ensure that all aspects of testing are executed effectively to deliver a successful program outcome.
Responsibilities
- Lead the test strategy, planning, and execution for Oracle HCM and Payroll.
- Manage System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Payroll Parallel Runs, and Regression Testing.
- Coordinate business stakeholders, functional leads, implementation partners, and third-party suppliers.
- Oversee defect management, test governance, reporting, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure payroll-specific testing scenarios, legislative requirements, and interfaces are fully validated.
- Drive test readiness and support cutover and go-live activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading testing on Oracle HCM Cloud and Oracle Payroll implementations.
- Strong understanding of HCM processes including Core HR, Absence, Talent, Recruitment, and Payroll.
- Experience managing large-scale transformation programmes and complex integration landscapes.
- Familiarity with test management tools and structured testing methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
