Overview
The Communications Change Manager will support a Cyber Risk Programme by overseeing multiple technical projects within an organization. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to drive communication and engagement strategies, ensuring that organizational readiness is achieved with minimal disruption. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in change management to influence senior stakeholders and ensure successful adoption of program outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive communication plans to support program milestones and business readiness.
- Create compelling strategies and narratives that articulate the purpose and benefits of change initiatives.
- Determine effective communication channels and approaches to foster stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct discovery activities to assess business impacts and stakeholder needs.
- Perform stakeholder mapping and change impact assessments across business and technical communities.
- Facilitate workshops with Project Managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and shape change activities.
- Provide governance reporting and monitor change-related risks and issues.
- Support multiple technical projects within the Cyber Risk Programme and ensure alignment with data security considerations.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Change Management and Communications within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and the ability to challenge assumptions effectively.
- Proven experience in stakeholder mapping, audience segmentation, and change impact assessments.
- Expertise in communication planning and message development.
- Ability to differentiate between organization-wide communications and targeted engagement approaches.
- Experience facilitating workshops for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong governance, action tracking, and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
