UI/UX Designer

Overview

The role of a UI/UX Designer is pivotal in shaping the user experience of a premium SaaS platform focused on video project management. The contractor will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create aesthetically pleasing and intuitive interfaces, leveraging innovative design principles. This remote, UK-based position allows for flexibility in technical involvement, catering to designers with varying levels of coding expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative, user-friendly interfaces for the SaaS platform focused on video project management.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with the company's aesthetic standards, emphasizing minimalism, glassmorphism, and neo-styles.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate user requirements into functional designs.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve the user experience continually.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the platform remains modern and competitive.
  • Assist in scaffolding and prototyping AI-driven features, exploring innovative design solutions that enhance user engagement.
  • Ensure consistency across all design elements and maintain a cohesive visual language throughout the platform.
  • Participate in user testing sessions and analyze user feedback to inform ongoing design improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably within SaaS platforms or video-related projects.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating minimalist, Apple-inspired design principles, with examples of glassmorphism and neo-styled interfaces.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices for web and mobile interfaces.
  • Experience working with AI-driven design tools or scaffolding design concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
