Overview
The Design Project Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the design process for data centre projects across the UK and Germany, guiding them through to RIBA Stage 3. Working closely with the design team, the successful candidate will take on project delivery responsibilities while ensuring effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of data centre designs through RIBA Stage 3.
- Take ownership of project delivery and ensure timelines are met.
- Collaborate with the design team to refine project specifications and requirements.
- Conduct client meetings and site visits as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to technical standards and regulations throughout the design process.
- Manage communication between stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Design Manager with a strong technical background.
- In-depth knowledge of data centre design principles and practices.
- Experience in client-facing roles and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage project delivery independently.
- Willingness to travel to project sites for meetings and assessments.
