Overview
The Infrastructure Test Manager will play a vital role in managing and executing testing activities for a major relocation and migration program within the broadcast infrastructure sector. This hands-on position requires collaboration with various teams including project, engineering, and operations to ensure effective test governance and high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will blend test management expertise with a strong understanding of broadcast and infrastructure technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the overall test strategy and documentation.
- Coordinate the execution of test cases and scenarios across teams.
- Lead functional, performance, and integration testing activities.
- Manage defects and issues from identification to resolution.
- Conduct risk assessments and establish mitigation plans.
- Generate status and test-summary reports as needed.
- Provide Go/No-Go recommendations based on testing outcomes.
- Drive the program towards achieving Operational Acceptance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Test Management across complex infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in test strategy, planning, and governance.
- Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and project management techniques.
- Background in broadcast operations and data-centre migration is essential.
- Experience in risk and defect management within technical projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with tools such as Xray for Jira and Jira is highly desirable.
