Overview
The Project Support Coordinator will join a technology deployment programme focused on upgrading network services across the client's estate. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager and Network Infrastructure Lead, this role will involve supporting network migrations through coordination of communications, documentation, logistics, and key project activities, along with engaging directly with engineers during deployments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical background to transition into project delivery while actively participating in significant technology advancements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate communications and documentation to support network migration activities.
- Assist in the logistics and planning of network deployment activities.
- Work closely with engineers during deployments to ensure project success.
- Manage project actions and maintain detailed documentation and spreadsheets.
- Attend selected site deployments across England and Scotland as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on support during post-migration testing activities.
- Ensure timely reporting and updates on project progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT Support, Infrastructure Support, Network Support, or Field Engineering.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and IT rollouts is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage documentation and project tasks efficiently.
- Hands-on approach with readiness to assist engineers during network deployments.
- Interest in evolving a career in project delivery and technology deployment.
- Willingness to travel and accommodate early morning site visits as required.
