Overview
We are seeking an experienced Innovation Project Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives within a major international law firm on a contract basis. This hybrid position emphasizes collaboration across various teams including Innovation, Technology, and Legal to ensure successful adoption of innovative projects that deliver tangible business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the legal sector, with a focus on the delivery of technology-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver innovation and technology projects across the full lifecycle, from ideation and PoC through to implementation and adoption.
- Establish robust project governance, reporting, RAID management, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Innovation, IT, Security, Legal, Procurement, and external vendors.
- Facilitate workshops, steering committees, demos, and decision-making forums.
- Manage pilot programmes, user adoption activities, and successful transition into BAU.
- Support business case development and value realisation assessment.
Requirements
- Proven track record delivering complex technology, digital, or innovation projects.
- Strong project/programme management capability across Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including executive-level communication.
- Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where innovation and experimentation are encouraged.
- Strong governance, planning, risk, and reporting experience.
- Exposure to AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Automation, Cloud, or Data Platforms is a plus.
- Experience running innovation labs, PoCs, pilots, or emerging technology programmes.
