Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a significant warehouse fit-out program, primarily focused on critical IT infrastructure and technology workstreams. This home-based role requires the ability to coordinate multiple contractors and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while managing all aspects of project governance and delivery. The successful contractor will have the opportunity to lead a prominent project within a collaborative environment, with responsibility and autonomy to drive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Take overall ownership of project delivery across all assigned technology workstreams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using Microsoft Project.
- Coordinate project schedules with clients, principal contractors, and third-party suppliers.
- Create and maintain project RAID logs and manage project dependencies.
- Lead project governance, reporting, and delivery meetings.
- Monitor budgets, forecast spend, and support commercial reporting.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering warehouse fit-out projects in industrial, logistics, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong track record in managing IT infrastructure implementation projects.
- Expertise in creating and managing detailed project plans using Microsoft Project.
- Excellent understanding of structured cabling, enterprise networking, and IT infrastructure deployments.
- Experience with server rooms, control rooms, wireless networks, and CCTV systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets.
- Flexibility to travel within the UK and occasionally to Denmark.
