Overview
The Senior AI Engineer will work with a major global financial institution to develop practical, production-ready AI-driven trading solutions. Collaborating with a team of engineers and data scientists, the contractor will focus on transforming advanced AI capabilities into actionable insights based on client behavioral data and market predictions. This role involves building and deploying solutions using modern AI frameworks and Python while playing a key part in future AI projects across various financial contexts.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI-driven trading recommendations using client and market data.
- Build and deploy production-grade solutions using Python and modern AI frameworks.
- Evaluate and deploy AI/ML models based on real business data.
- Utilize large language models and AI-assisted coding tools in project work.
- Implement model evaluation, testing, and monitoring procedures.
- Manage data pipelines to ensure reliable AI deployments.
- Contribute to additional projects in trading, FX, and digital sales.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience in engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with production-grade coding.
- Demonstrated experience in building and deploying AI/ML models.
- Practical experience with large language models and agentic frameworks.
- Understanding of model evaluation, testing, and production governance.
- Familiarity with data pipelines and reliable AI deployments.
- Experience in the financial services or capital markets is a plus.
