Overview
As a Senior C# Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of a greenfield B2B SaaS platform, focusing on high-performance backend engineering and distributed systems design. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Engineering to implement AWS serverless strategies, while also exploring advanced AI-assisted development tools to enhance your workflow. This position demands deep technical expertise in C# and .NET, as well as a proactive approach to creating resilient, high-quality services.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build complex distributed services in C#/.NET 8/9 on AWS Lambda.
- Design and deliver resilient event-driven systems using AWS messaging services like SQS.
- Own features from product thinking through to delivery, including scoping and trade-offs.
- Create well-documented, versioned APIs that enhance developer experience.
- Foster a high-quality engineering culture through rigorous testing and peer reviews.
- Develop proficiency in AI-assisted development using Claude Code, optimizing coding workflows.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in C# and .NET 9/10 with proven backend engineering skills.
- Strong expertise in AWS serverless technologies including Lambda, API Gateway, and SQS.
- Proficient in data management with Aurora MySQL and DynamoDB, including schema design and query optimization.
- Experience designing event-driven systems with a focus on operational resilience.
- Solid grasp of API design principles and best practices for developer experience.
- Ability to work independently and effectively engage with stakeholders, including hands-on product shaping.
- Rigorous understanding of Git-based workflows, CI/CD practices, and secure coding standards.
