Overview
We are seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Architect to lead the design and implementation of Microsoft enterprise platforms. This role will involve guiding client transformation programmes and engaging with both business and technical stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of Microsoft 365 solutions tailored to specific needs. The position is remote, outside IR35, and initially set for six months with a strong potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and architecture workshops focusing on Microsoft technologies.
- Design and implement tailored Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Deliver tenant migrations, consolidations, and separations for divestitures.
- Configure and optimize Microsoft 365 identity, collaboration, security, and compliance features.
- Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs, along with implementation plans and documentation.
- Lead technical streams, providing subject matter expertise throughout project delivery.
- Conduct platform health checks and develop remediation plans.
- Advise on Microsoft licensing, governance, security, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering Microsoft 365 projects in enterprise environments.
- Expertise in M&A, divestitures, and tenant migrations.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently with hands-on technical delivery experience.
- Experience in creating detailed architecture and design documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Desirable knowledge of Azure infrastructure and Microsoft Purview expertise.
