Overview
The Senior Platform Engineer will join a dynamic team tasked with designing, automating, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and platform solutions across both Azure and on-premise environments. This contract role emphasizes a hands-on approach to engineering tasks while collaborating with team members to ensure reliable system performance and efficiency. The engineer will focus on implementing infrastructure as code, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and monitoring solutions to enhance system observability and stability.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions for Azure and on-premise environments.
- Automate deployment processes and maintain infrastructure as code.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for enhanced software delivery.
- Monitor and troubleshoot complex technical issues using observability tools.
- Collaborate with team members to improve infrastructure processes and practices.
- Provide Windows and Linux administration support as needed.
- Enhance network design and troubleshooting capabilities, including DHCP configurations.
Requirements
- Strong experience in designing scalable and reliable solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure and networking.
- Proven expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Azure Monitor.
- Background in on-premise network deployment and automation.
- Scripting/programming experience with Bash and/or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of network design and troubleshooting best practices.
