Overview
We are seeking a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent to lead significant wastewater treatment projects within a well-established regulated water framework. This role involves overseeing the site operations from pre-construction to project completion, collaborating closely with project managers, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The position is fully site-based and offers a unique opportunity to influence project execution from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Lead site operations from inception through to project completion.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager on planning and documentation.
- Manage day-to-day construction activities and enable work setups.
- Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, and ICA works across multiple disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
- Drive performance and alignment among subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.
- Operate safely around live services, making informed judgments for site safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent on water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams on projects valued at £15M+.
- Strong understanding of Tier 1 contractor processes and associated paperwork rigor.
- Knowledge of civil reinstatement works and site safety protocols.
- Required certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid; Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor certification is a bonus.
- Water sector experience is preferred but not mandatory.
