Overview
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Strategist/Manager to oversee the social media strategy for Toyota Connected Services in Europe. This role will involve close collaboration with various teams to enhance customer engagement through effective content strategies and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing the existing social media presence into a more impactful channel for customer interaction, leveraging analytics and cross-functional teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the Connected Services social media strategy and content pillars.
- Review existing accounts, audience, historic content, and paid activity to establish performance baselines.
- Collaborate with GTM and Creative Team to align with the Toyota content calendar and identify opportunities for new content.
- Develop and manage an editorial plan that balances existing assets and new social-first content.
- Brief and collaborate with design and content teams to create effective social media materials.
- Manage daily channel activity and community engagement.
- Identify opportunities for organic growth and collaboration with Toyota channels.
- Define a KPI and measurement framework to evaluate reach, engagement, and customer intent.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing brand social accounts, preferably for large consumer brands.
- Strong background in Instagram strategy, content planning, and community management.
- Experience with both organic and paid social media strategies.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and KPI optimization.
- Proficient in using Brandwatch or similar enterprise social media platforms.
- Ability to translate performance data into actionable business insights.
- Experience working with various internal stakeholders in complex organizations.
- Knowledge of content development for multiple European markets is a plus.
