Overview
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join a Defence and Security organisation, focusing on delivering advanced Naval programmes. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to manage system requirements, design, and integrate complex systems within a collaborative environment. The position will initially be for a 12-month contract, with a possibility of extension, and requires active SC clearance at submission.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage system requirements using DOORS.
- Define system interfaces to facilitate design and integration across engineering disciplines.
- Support the full engineering lifecycle from requirements to integration, verification, and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile delivery environment.
- Ensure compliance with defence engineering standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong background in Systems Engineering within complex environments.
- Experience using DOORS for requirement management.
- Familiarity with the full engineering lifecycle.
- Comfortable working in an agile environment.
- Active SC Clearance (or recently lapsed and eligible to renew).
