Overview
We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our team on a rolling 3-month remote contract. The successful candidate will have a strong background in creating clean, minimalist interfaces with a focus on Apple-inspired aesthetics and contemporary design elements. Collaboration with product and development teams will be essential in translating design concepts into user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience, particularly in the realm of video project management.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces that are visually appealing and intuitive, adhering to the company’s aesthetic standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate ideas clearly.
- Implement and test UI components within the SaaS platform, ensuring consistency and usability across devices.
- Incorporate user feedback and analytics to refine and improve user experience continually.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge for the platform.
- Assist in scaffolding AI-driven design prototypes for seamless workflow integration.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in SaaS or technology sectors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing minimalist, Apple-inspired designs and contemporary design elements.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Experience working on video-related projects or platforms is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of AI integration in design workflows is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills in a remote setting.
