Overview
The Activation Manager for RAN Deployment plays a crucial role in overseeing the end-to-end activation process for new and upgraded RAN sites. This position will work closely with various stakeholders, including Regional teams, suppliers, and external partners, to ensure that network deployment is executed smoothly, meeting all delivery plans and business requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end activation lifecycle for new and upgraded RAN sites.
- Provide accurate activation forecasts and progress updates to stakeholders.
- Proactively manage dependencies and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate activation plans and resources with regional teams and vendors.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies affecting deployment.
- Ensure compliance with plans and reporting requirements by suppliers.
- Support escalation processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze trends in failed or canceled works and implement improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing RAN or network deployment projects.
- Strong understanding of activation processes and lifecycle management.
- Experience with forecasting and planning in network environments.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and dependencies effectively.
