Overview
The Aruba ClearPass Consultant will play a crucial role in the assessment and deployment of the Aruba ClearPass solution within a hybrid environment. They will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to design and implement the migration strategy from Cisco ISE to Aruba ClearPass, ensuring a smooth and efficient deployment while producing high-quality documentation throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Review the existing Cisco ISE environment and create the solution design and migration strategy for Aruba ClearPass deployment.
- Install, configure, and optimize the Aruba ClearPass platform, including its various services.
- Integrate Aruba ClearPass with existing Cisco switching and wireless infrastructure while developing AAA standards.
- Configure authentication sources, certificates, enforcement policies, and device onboarding workflows according to customer demands.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including as-built documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
- Collaborate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and configuring Aruba ClearPass in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Network Access Control (NAC) technologies, including 802.1X, RADIUS, MAB, device profiling, and policy enforcement.
- Experience with the migration or integration of Cisco ISE environments with Aruba ClearPass and related infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, PKI, certificate services, and endpoint onboarding solutions.
- Excellent consulting and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers during workshops.
